The application failed to initialize (0x0000135). Click to terminate. Solution: Your PC is missing the Microsoft .NET framework

I actually do not know who is responsible for this solution but I can't really take credit for it.

who ever they are , they are intelligent enough to know what an error code is and what to do about it
I commend them.

Another suggestion is to make sure you install not only .NET 1.0 , but that you install 2.0

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I'm having the same problem, not quite sure whether it is happending due to upgrade to IE 8 or Windows Installer 4.5 installation. Cleanup and re-install of Yahoo Messenger 10 won't help. The YahooMessenger.exe fails to initialize right during the installation process.

When i try to use hallmark studio, i get the phrase application failed to initialize properly (0x0000135)

Please run windows update. It's important that you install Microsoft .Net framework & other security fixes.
When updating .Net framework there are many, please stay in order (smallest to largest). .Net framework 1.0.
.Net framework 1.1 & so on. When your PC has completed all updates try your program; hallmark studio again. If it still fails, reinstall the program & do not run other programs during install.

If you have more questions feel free to ask.

    Good Luck & Kind Regards.
