Question about Lexmark X7350 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Last night we had a strong storm with lots of lightening, this morning I started the computer and the printer only displays bars. Is there a reset combo for this machine, or a fuse to protect it from voltage surges in the phone line? I didn't find mention of any in the manual, but really don't want to switch printer/fax machines again. Thanks for your help,
No surge protector is going to stop a lightning strike. It's just way too powerful.
1. Make sure you've unplugged, waited 10 seconds, plugged it back in. That's more than the on/off button does.
2. If your PC will communicate with the printer at all, Lexmark has a program that will reset it. It's located here: http://support.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/knowledgebase.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:520:0:0&docid=ENUS25837
