When on its final spin cycle washer does not spin at its normal high speed. it is three weeks out of warranty! I can't see anything mechanically wrong, so i'm assuming it has a self destruct program! Will replacing the main circuit board (at high cost) fix it? Ps mod no.AWO/D4605

Final high speed spin very noisey

Something is causing the drum to be way out of balance. Does it bang and make noise when it's spinning empty? Probably not. Is something stuck on the side (inside of course) of the drum, causing it to shake when spinning? If not, a spring or shock absorber (connecting drum to sides, bottom or top of machine) has broken or come loose.

The laundry is still wet after a normal wash cycle, because the machine doesn't get into the "high speed spin" (this has happened several times . . . have only had it 2 weeks). It has happened on full...

Since it can spin by selector then there is no problem with the spinning mechanism. Need to call warranty service to address the electronic sensor control.

Frigidaire Tumble Action washer won't complete the final spin. leaves clothes soaking wet.

Had the same problem and fixed with ease. The problem is with the door lock. There is a secondary locking mechanism that kicks in for the final spin due to the high speed. When the secondary lock goes bad the washer will not do the final spin. The replacement part is under $40 @ AppliancePartsPros.com .

I am getting a vibrating noise from my washer right before the final spin. Levleling looks good. This happened a couple days ago. We drained out the water and the washer would work again, but would stop at...

It sounds like you could have multiple issues but a possible cause of the vibrating right before the final spin is a broken shock absorber if one or both are gone it will throw off the center of gravity inside the machine and allow it to move freely and at high speed or even low speed this is not good. part number for both shocks is 134560400. If your machine just stops before the spin cycle and only drains, you could have a faulty door switch. the washer will not spin for safety reasons if this is gone. part number for the door lock switch is 131763245. as well the striker that hits this door switch can be broken and sometime pieces will be left inside the mechanism. part number for the striker is 134456640. The last cause of your washer not spinning could be a motor speed control board, if this is faulty, the motor will not receive the proper amperage to send the motor into spin cycle. speed control board part number is 134409904. Hope this helps.

Thanks

FRIGIDARE FRONT LOAD WASHER,2+YRS OLD ON FINAL HIGH SPEED SPIN MACHINE MAKES LOUD VIBRATION NOISE AND FIND NEED TO SHUT DOWN DUE TO FRANTIC VIBRATION AND NOISE.

It is possible the bearings on the motor that spins the canister could be going bad especially at the high speed. This could also be from clothes getting unbalanced in the final spin cycle. Hope this helps. This could still possibly under warranty!

Wet clothes after final spin cycle

There are two speed (or three) on most washer motors and what happens is that a motor speed will stop functioning--it will wash the clothes, but the high speed will not function. This also could be the controller, but more likely it is centered at the motor. It the motor is functioning, it coulfd be in the transmission of the machine--which may be the problenm since you heard a loud noise. I am not familiar with your machine, there could be an electronic switch for the transmission to go into high speed as well that has gone bad. I wish I had more direct knowledge of your machine.
