Question about HP Media Center M370N (DM163A#ABA) PC Desktop

1 Answer

Microsoft media plus activation

I am trying to use the analog recorder in the media plus group but it wants me to register with a product key - this program group was pre-installed but never used - after two crashes and re-installing the operating system I have no recollection concerning the original product information which came with this system - I bought it new in 04-05. I tried the product key on the computer tower and the key I used when I started over after the last crash was ok but now I cant't activate these programs to use the analog recorder - HELP!

    Azkeyz -
Thanks for the response - I am not familiar with the analogue tuner capture card - all I know is that there is an addition to media player called media plus which has in its' group a program called analogue recorder allowing you to download music from cassettes and albums (analogue) and reproduces it in digital so you can burn it on a cd - If there is a tuner card in the mix somewhere I have not seen any reference to it. In the install / uninstall program it says that these programs are present and available but it asks for a product key when I go through the registration process - never activated it before and lost whatever information I had when I purchased the system.
    Thanks for your help!

OH ! I see now , you installed some extra software or it got installed by accident

and now you don't have the key for it well there are solutions.

You can unintall those programs as they are extra garbage really and you don't actually need them
as media player is quite capable of doing those things be default from what I've seen.

or you can enter the dank underground of hacking and look for a crack or keygenerator for that.

but honestly you can simply ignore those extra programs as you can do those things using
many other programs which are far better solutions for doing those particular tasks.

my strongest recomendation is to simply get rid of them , that CAN be done by totaly uninistallig media player , and loading up new ones from the windows update site , and keep going till you have media player 11 the current media player

lets hope you're using windows XP or greater with all it's updates and service packs that we dispise so much yet love.
