Had a recent paper jam ?
Turn off the unit (disconnect it from the computer if it is).
Check for any obstructions or torn pieces of paper inside.
If all is clear and still getting the error message, paper sensor inside the printer is malfunctioning which is a non-user serviceable part. You need to go for a replacement if warranty permits.
