Acer 6800 I have an Acer 6800, since I bought it 2 months I have annoying problem with the fan sound. It working with the sadden accelerations even when computer in idle state. I called Acer and they sent me a new fan, but after replacing it the same problems. It hot affects the system work, but just very annoying.

hey, my acer laptop does the same thing. I don't know what caused it, but when the fan runs, it's pretty annoying, and even before the fan acted up, the laptop would over heat, and using it on my lap sometimes burns.
