No flow coming from exhaust vent at back lower bottom of unit, lint screen is clear.

Your freezer evaporator drain is clogged. Unplug the unit.... open the lower back of th unit by remvoing the fiberboard cover. Place an external fan directed into the freezer compartment for just over 2 hours. (Water mess) Use a vacuum to clear the debris from the catch pan basin in the bottom of the unit. Make sure to clen off the END of the compartment drain hose. Next revers the vacuum flow to exhaust. Force aire throught the end of the comaprtment drain hose to float out any debris in the evaporator drain funnel. Clean up the residual water and return the unit back to normal service. This should stop the water thatis caused by the automatic defrosting cycle from comeing through the evaporator acess panel vents.

Check air flow out of unit and ensure you do have some foreign object stuck in the blower wheel. UNPLUG unit, and clear out exhaust tube from dryer. Have a professional clean house vent if you cannot see where the vent exits the house. It is common on Whirlpool, top of cabinet vent opening to have objects fall into the lint screen opening and restrict airflow.

Did you clean the exhaust from the wall behind your dryer to the outside. This is more important than the dryer exhaust system itself. If not get behind dryer and remove exhaust to the wall and using a leaf blower,(electric) put it inside house vent then push dryer back to hold in place go outside and watch to see what all blows out. There is a thermal fuse inside the unit that may need replacing. The fuse protects your dryer from becoming dangerously overheated if you have a lint blockage in the vent or if your motor siezes.
It's very common for lint to build up in the vent, thus clogging the exhaust.
I'd start by cleaning out the vent. Remove the lint screen and use a dryer brush (available at home improvement stores) to clear out the lint buildup.
Try using your dryer. If it still does not get warm, then look at replacing that thermal fuse. It should be an easy repair. The fuse is usually located in the back cover panel. Follow instructions that come with your new fuse.

you could have restricted airflow from the lint screen not being cleaned, a bad blower wheel, or a bad thermostat. take the vent hose off the back and check to see if the air flows out the dryer with good force, if so your vent is probably clogged or not open in the wall. the vent hose may also be picned off from puching the dryer back to far.

Make sure you check your exhaust hose. It shuld be clear of any lint , and properly exhausted to outside of the home . Try turning on the druer with no load and no heat , find your outside vent and check for air flow . If none is felt you suhld move your dryer away from wall ( if aplicable ) and disconnect the hose and check for any blockage , You can even try the above step with the vent hose disconnected to make sure that the dryer it self is properly venting ( feel for ALOT of air coming out of exhaust port ) . If only a miniscule amount of air ( or none at all ) is coming out of the back of the unit you may have to call a technician to come in and clear out the internal duct work .

The vent hose/pipe should be as short as possible to vent the dryer outdoors. If it is too long, cut it to the needed length. Also check the inside of the entire pipe to make sure there is not lint piled up in it. Finally check inside the back of the dryer where the vent pipe attaches to be sure it is clear, and the vent outside the house to make sure it is clear and not blocked.

Very common problem. You need to call a
duct cleaning company and tell them to clean
your dryer vent. Rule-of-thumb: dryer vents
should be cleaned every couple of years to
prevent them from being clogged with lint and
causing lint fires. This is definitely your problem.

p.s. one way to verify a clogged vent is
to go outside where the vent exits the house
and feel the air-flow. should have adequate air-flow.

you can unplug the unit , and reomve the lower aces panel (3 screws along the front bottom of unit) youll probalby see an excess of lint built up in which case you can vacuum it out, and then check/clean and or replace your dryer vent

To replace a thermostat, 1st unplug the unit. Next remove the bottom panel (2 5/16 screws) The part under where your lint screen goes is your is your lint duct. Next to it on the right and back just a little bit is your thermostat. Most people change a thermostat when there are other problems causing long dry times. Check your vent to make sure it's clean and flowing well. Make sure your vent hose behind the dryer is not kinked or bent. Clean your mositure sensors (the silver bars on the inside of your dryer drum) by rubbing them with the abrasive side of a sponge or a smooth sand paper to remove the clear build up from detergents and dryer sheets. Lastly check the area underneath your lint screen. Is there much build up? This can be mostly cleared just by using a long thin vaccume cleaner attachment.
