Darren there is a free repair by jvc even if your cam corder is out of warantee

If the camera becomes damp or cold and brought into a warm atmosphere damp forms in the mechanism which would cause the tape to stick and become damaged or fouled.
leave the camera to warm up for a few hours and the fault should clear.
If not the most common reason is the dew sensor has failed and needs replacing

If it has been inside your house for more than an hour & is still showing condensation, the camcorder is more than likely useless. for the price of repair, you can buy another brand of camcorder & be money ahead as even after you have it repaired the problem will shortly return.

Hi you will need to put the device in a natrual climate room for at least a hour soo the condensation will dry naturally http://www.fixya.com/user-guide/p398162,mp938965,hcondensation/JVC-Cybercam-GR-D70-Mini-DV-Digital-Camcorder.aspx good luck
