I was given an ultrex II pressure cooker, model 11302C but it is missing the gauge. I can't seem to find one for it. can I just use any pressure gauge from the hardware store, or do I have to have one special for the cooker? any help would be appreciated.

Your pressure cooker sounds like the Prestige Automatic Pressure Cooker which I have had for 29 years and is still working. If you go to Google and type Pressure Cooker Centre Australia it should take you to their web site and you can order the cookbook for the aforesaid pressure cooker. Hope this helps, Celia
Hi Pam - The fasters fix fot this would be a simple one. Go to a Home Depot or a Lowes or any hardware store and purchase a small tube of clear epoxy adhesive. Use a toothpick to put a couple of drops of the epoxy in the hole in the knob then reassemble the knob, lid and screw. When the exoxy dries your know willl be permanently reattached. Good luck. AND a one minute clear epoxy or a 5 minute would be best for your application.. Please rate my answer. thanks.
Any generic appliance cord should work. You can try Home Depot or Lowes they have some cords. Just make sure you get the same gage and approximate length cord. You can also buy cords on line from appliance supply websites. Good luck. If you have any more questions please ask. Please rate me so I know if I helped. Thanks.
