Well thays not true about changing airbags, or seatbelts. Disconnect the battery get one from a junk car or new and just pug it in and reinstall it. I already did mine. This info is just to make you spend alot of money at Chrysler.

Airbag warning light on

Unless you find a bad fuse ,you don't fix at home

You need a shop with professional tools to diagnose

Right now you have the air bag turned off

There are other things besides air bags, you have seat belts
etc in the srs system

I have a 2007 Hyundai Accent. My drivers side air bag light came on and it will not go off. Can someone tell what causes this?

Read Owners Manual

Check for codes--- as with ALL dash lights that indicate
a fault with the vehicle

It isn't about turning something off, that won't repair your
vehicle, what it will do is remove all data needed to diagnose
& resolve the problem

With the Air Bag light on-- you have an SRS System that turned
it off,so don't run into anything if you need that air bag to work

Get it fixed

Where is my air bag control module on 2002 suzuki esteem

Air Bags are a crutial safety feature and don't take kindly to tampering ! The air bag module will be specific to the airbag set-up within your vehicle and should NEVER be interfered with or tampered with. You don't want it to go wrong when you need them most ! leave it to the dealership please.

Where s the air bag light fuse

Bottom line is you can't.
Due to the safety factor, I don't know of a way to turn the light off without disconnecting the entire system.
When work is done on the steering wheel the fuse is removed that turns the light on.
You may have to get a shop manual to find the connectors to disconnect the air bag module.
The air bag module which is connected to the body computer requires a different kind of scanner than the engine computer to read it for codes.

Air bag code 42

Left hand crash sensor feed/return circuit open.

You're going to have to look for a broken wire, or a connector that is corroded or open. Once the problem is fixed the light will go out. Unfortunately I don't have a wiring diagram on this to help you out or any idea as to where the wires are routed.

Airbag light

all the vehicles i've ever worked on, about the air bag light thing.
Vehicles have what is known as a clock spring under the steering wheel, you have to pull the steering wheel to get
to it. VW may call it something else. That clock spring allows the steering wheel to be able to move, and it feeds
info to the steering wheel air bag. it's nothing but a wire connection that moves without breaking. After a lot of
driving the spring gets a lot of action and will finally break so the info is then blocked and the air bag light goes on.
If you decide to tackle it, disconnect the battery first thing, you could set off the air bag if you don't. The clock
spring can be removed and tested with a volt ohm meter to see if it has a reading or not. no reading bad...reading of
any kind good. The spring isn't cheep, and the repair isn't easy. You also have to be sure you have everything correct
or the air bag can go off when you reconnect the battery.

What fuse # do I pull for the air bag. I think the sensor is going out, so I want to pull the fuse to stop the binging noise.

If you do that you may not have any air bag in
the event of an accident, just a thought, don't know

Really need to purchase an owners manual for all
your vehicles, just for fuses & bulbs & check lights
etc

Is it safe to drive your car with the air bag light staying on?

If you don't mind being in an accident &
possibly have no air bag deploy

Why wouldn't you have it checked out,
instead of asking a question like that?

There is a lot more to that system than air bags alone

Where can I find the air bag fuse. My 2007 Equinox has the airbag light on but after driving a few miles or on a bumpy road it turns off.

You don't keep riding around with any check light
on your dash

You get to a repair shop and have it diagnosed
and repaired

You may not even have the Air Bag turned on if
have an accident.

Fuses don't perform any function or go bad
