PIxma Hey, Just checking, I assume you have got the link I sent you with the picture. Was the model I sent you wrong? Do you need another set of drivers or did the ones I sent you work? Thanks, Ekse

Ok, theres a few things you can try

Right click the setup program (you will need to extract the files from the packages first. You can do that with winrar. - downloads - WinRAR 3.80 beta 5) Ones you have winrar installed you can right click the downloaded file, select extract to mp600vst... folder. Inside the extracted folder you have the drivers and setup files, you could skip the setup and just install the driver for the printer without the extra canon stuff that comes with the download. More on that later if your intrested.

Goto the folder you extracted the files to

    Find DrvSetup folder

setup.exe right click select run as or run as administrator.

    Try that first

Let me know how it goes. I will get back to you as soon as possible,

The mp600vst is the setup file, atleast for windows xp. The one available at

The filename may be diffrent but I mean the setup file you get from the webpage.

Ones you have winrar installed you can right click on the downloaded file and select extract to "filename" you will get a new folder on your desktop.

Goto the folder you extracted the files to
    Find DrvSetup folder
setup.exe right click select run as or run as administrator.

let me know how that goes.

Thank you. I did get your reply and tried but with no success ( stopped as before). I wondered whether it is the same Driver for the 600R which is a wireless printer? Thanks, Kev

Can T5200 communicate both ways with MD203R?

The easiest way to know is to set the Frequency, and interference eliminator Code to the same settings on each radio. Turn off any special features for your initial test. When set to the same settings the radios should work together fine. Then you can add back in any special features one at time until you have the radios set up the way you prefer.
Here are links to the user guides for each model. You can compare freq. charts and see how to program them:

We are an event management company... Please tell me the price of Motorola Talkabout T6500 (7 Channels) 2-Way Radio, and how can i buy it. need 10 sets (5 pairs). does it needs any license??

The TalkAbout radios are license-free and operate on FRS/GMRS frequencies intended for family use. It is possible using them in a business situation may be outside of the license-free perimeters. You would need to check further on this through a licensing company or the FCC (

Here's a link to the user guide for the T6500.

Here's a link to the Motorola TalkAbout Store: The T6500 is not a current model, but the models shown would talk with it, and work similarly.

Here's a link to another vendor we have had success with They show the T6500 on their website for sale.

Best regards.

Motorla Xtn446 - Kenwood Protalk Dosent Transmit

One or both of your radios have PL ( aka private line, tone code, interference eliminators) activated. Here is a link to a link which contains the XTN446 manual(s). Click on the "support" tab to see the list:

First I would try setting the radio's CODE to off (usually zero) and see if that solves the problem. Otherwise, you'll either need to experiment, or find a user guide for the Kenwood. (You could try posting in the Kenwood forum.)

Best regards.

I have a motorola t5720 and when I hit the mon key it makes no noise. I also do not have my manual. What do I do?

The monitor MON button may or may not emit noise. On some models of radios it will have "white noise" when pressed. On others it is silent. MON is used to be "polite" and see if anyone is talking before you transmit, assuming you have the interference code eliminator turned on. It temporarily shuts off your CODE. If your CODE is set to zero, you would never need the MON button, as you will hear all radio traffic anyway.

For simple operation of your radio, set all your radios identical to one another with the same frequency, code and Qt filter (if any). Use the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button to transmit, and release it when you are done talking to listen for a reply from a fellow radio user.

Best regards.

One radio not recieving

You need to check your interference eliminator code. It sounds like they are not set to the same code. Also, if your radio has a Qt filter, set it to zero.

Assuming you sent it to Motorola's Repair Depot, not the dealer you purchased it from... Contact Motorola again, and they will have you return it for repair or replacement. Write "bouncer" on the box, to put it on the fast track.
