Recently purchased a camcorder DCR-SR68 and we took all our wedding video
on it. It now says HDD format error and all my video is gone. I tried
resetting didn't work, took out the battery, didn't work. Sony told me
to format the drive but that also not function. couldn;t format that.
Is it possible to recover this video??? can i solve that problem?

You can recover the deleted videos as long as the data are not overwritten.
Deleting files(such as videos or photos) from camcorder is just like clearing the recycle bin or Trash on your comptuter. The data itself isn't deleted, just the area containing the deleted data is also now marked as free space so it is available for any new data to be written there instead. The REAL data is still there. As a result a simple delete won't make your videos erased permanently.
Then you need opt for a third party data recovery software.
