Question about JVC GR-D290 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
Same problem here too! I think I found the solution at the address below. Apparently you cannot transfer video through the USB cable, only stills which are stored on the SD Card. To transfer the video, you need to buy an additional cable which they sell through their web site. You can use either a 4-4 or 4-6 pin i-link cable (whatever that is!) I hope this solves both our problems!

Install the cd driver camed with your camcorder to your pc. after the installation it should be recognizable. hope that helps!
