First,It that the display IC has gone. It needs a replacement. Please take the phone to Nokia Care and get the IC replaced.you can do easily if the LCD of your phone will change..

Its easier if you just save your contacts on your SIM card that way whenever you transfer your sim card to a different phone your contacts will be on the new phone.

1 - Switch on your Nokia 2600 mobile phone without any sim card. 2 - Don't bother as to what is displayed on your Nokia 2600 mobile phone. 3 - Compose #pw+CODE+1#. 4 - The Nokia 2600 mobile phone would then display the message "SIM Restriction Off" and will be unlocked!
