Ubuntu for AMD 64 is the same as Ubuntu, only that it is optimized for use with a 64-bit processor, be it AMD or Intel. The upside in using Ubuntu 64 is that you will have increased performance when your ram is 4GB or greater because of the optimized architecture of 64bit. Any lower, you will not notice a difference between the two. The downside if it is that most softwares are made for 32bit, so your favorite app might not run on 64. If you are a newbie, I suggest you get the 32bit Ubuntu instead.

Ubuntu will NOT run on a muti-core motherboards properly. You should've just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with SP1 or Puppy Linux Live.

HD booting in one PC but not in another

Ubuntu works with RAM and CPU Memory instead of a pc like xp that uses Virtual RAM. If the pc that could not load ubuntu doesn't have enough ram to support the reading of the Hard drive and the Operating System then it won't work and Xp will only run on the computer that xp was installed onto the hard drive.

Flash player 9 on suse 10.1

NOTE: Since many proprietary video codecs, flash player etc.. are not available for 64-bit platforms, it is difficult to configure 64-bit machines for a complete multimedia experience. Hence it is advised that users new to linux use the 32-bit version of SUSE (32-bit SUSE works fine on 64-bit AMD machines)

Way to check would be open a terminal
type uname -a

If you use 32-bit Follow this page - http://tweakhound.com/linux/suse/101/installing_1.htm
I use ubuntu and to be able to compile flash you need dependencies to be met.
If you need more help, ask.

E2180 Vs Athlon 64 X2 5000+

depends on what you plan to do with the cpu amd are good but a 3200 may only run @ 1.8 to 3.2 ghz depending while a intel 3200 will run 3.2 ghz.
I believe intel are more stable & run cooler than AMD but AMD benchmarks on Games better but run hotter (so get a good cooling fan & heatsink both pentium / celeron d & intel dou / dual core / core 2 dou and amd x2 have 2 cores (but watch your front side bus and cache the higher the better but the more $ also) then You need a good stable mobo that supports the chip you get (I preffer asus & msi for Gamers and biostar / msi for home users)

COREL x4 running very slow & spooler problem

System Requirements:

Processor:
# Pentium III, 800MHz or AMD Athlon XP

Operating System:
# Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or later
# Windows Vista (32-bit or 64-bit editions)

Hard Disk:
# 430 MB

Memory:
# 512 MB RAM

Optical Drive:
# DVD-ROM

Other:
# 1,024 × 768 or better monitor resolution
# Mouse or tablet

Where these are the minimum specs I would recommend at least 1+gb memory and a good graphics card and a P4 or AMD processor running at 1.8ghz or better, and that would depend on how in depth you get into the program
