Question about Sony Handycam CCD-TRV68 Camcorder
Most likely the lithium Ion battery has been discharged. Leave it plugged in for 24 hours without turning it on and it should charge the battery.

If the symbol is an arrow facing up with a line under, it requires to eject the tape to resolve some issue. Maybe the tape is hanging. Try to eject using your power supply and then inspecting the tape for "looseness" and take out the slack if it is. Also try using a different tape.
