Hopefully you have a remote control for this unit. There is a FM select button. It's to turn on the FM modulator. When you press the button it will select different radio stations on the FM band. Once you select a station on the DVD, tune your vehicle radio station to the same and you will be able to hear the sound. Use this system to select the station with the best reception and less interference. If no remote is available, there may be a FM button on the DVD player to perform the same function.
Here is the code: I did this with the remote Press stop twice(which is also the BAND button) Press 1,2,6,4 Press down 1 time(button below the Play/Enter) Press Play/Enter 1 time (You should now see the menu) Brake override should say No I was told to change macrovision to No Hit sys setup twice to save and exit Hope it works like mine did!
how long have you been using this player? I suspect the laser (lens) of the player. I think the laser (lens) is weak that's why it cannot read data/files on DVD discs.
To confirm if actually its a laser problem, insert an Audio CD into the player and see if will play. If it plays, then obviously, your laser (lens) is weak. But if it doesn't play Audio CD, then it might still be the laser (lens) or a mechanism problem.
Get a lens cleaner, use it to clean the lens. If that doesn't solve the problem, get a screw driver, open the player's cover so that you can gain access to the lens, use a cotton board to clean the surface of the lens. This should clean dust or dirt that might be on the lens.
If non of the above solves the problem, then know that you need to replace the laser to a brand new one.
To replace the lens, remove the bad laser, use it as a sample to get exactly the same type and do the replacement. Note that replacing a laser (lens) needs a professional touch, so if you cannot replace the laser, get it to a repairman to fix it for you.
Once this us done, your player will play all DVD discs again.
there is a safety brake wire that needs to be hooked up. If it was installed professionally, have them explain it to you. There is not supposed to be any video players in view of the driver while in motion. Stop your car and put on the parking brake. If you installed it yourself, you probably didnt hook up the wire. Look inthe install manual for DVD safety wire.
i just wondering can you play your movie through your car speaker b/c i had install with this professional store and they said it can't play through the car they don't have that feather. soo please reply to firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know thankz
