Question about Pinnacle Video Transfer

Trouble with audio on pinnacle video transfer

When I capture video with the pinnacle video transfer, the audio tends to have a kind of "metallic" sound in the background (similar to a bunch of birds chirping). The noise seems to be enhanced when I use pinnacle studio to edit the video. Is there any known fix or work-around?

Thanks.
Rob

I have the same exact problem. At some point that metallic sound you mentioned suddenly out of no where appears in the video and it's annoying specially when there is a beautiful music playing in the background of the video. Pinnacle Studio to fix this? Does Pinnacle Studio support MP4?

I have had this problem several times, and there is a simple solution that has always worked for me. If I clear space on my external hard drive and de-fragment it, it seems to make the problem go away.

When transfering the VHS to my external hard drive, the audio is not in sync with the video. What can I do??? I'm using the DAZZLE DVD Recorder Convert device and have Windows XP.

Try to capture the video first in your drive C and please check if you will get the same result. If not try capture the whole video and do the copy and paste so that you can transfer it to your external hard drive.

If you still getting the same result when capturing the video to the drive C.

Try to defrag your hard drive C. Disable your antivirus and firewall connection.

Update the driver of your video card and sound card.

If your using a laptop or the desktop. Make sure that the dazzle device is connected at the back USB and not in the front.

Hope this help

Before buying a pinnacle video transfer I need to know if this appareil is vista compliant

Only requirements I see are video and audio input connections on our PC for the transfer/capture device. There are no actual drivers installed on Vista. If you are using Pinncale Studio software to work with the captured video, they do have versions advertised for Vista and Windows 7. If you have an older version, you may want to check the system requirements for that version. Upgrade versions appeared to be available.

Check your audio device under device manager. By locate this check one.

Click on Start>Control panel>system>hardware>device manager>sound and video games controller> right click on video capture device and uninstall it. Restart your computer. After you restarting the computer make sure that new hardware found message coming out. After you did that open again your IDVDR or Pinnacle Studio program and then check if the same problem.

I need a picture of how to hook up the dazzle to the vcr

If your trying to capture from a vcr make sure that the cables "composite are connected at the back make sure it is plug in to the video out.

Next, connect the cables directly to the dazzle.

make sure that the vcr is on and it is playing.

In the program Instant DVD Recorder please go to the step 1 select the dazzle as your video source not pinnacle file capture.

Then click option check the VHS input.
Video input must be composite if your using the composite
Audio input must be the dazzle.
