I have an LG direct drive front loader. The CL error code tremains on and I cannot find the temp and options on the panel

CL is child lock. Lookup your manual on lg.com, and see how to set/release child lock.

Error message CL solved. CL means child lock. To deactivate press two linked buttons (on my machine the right options button and the temp button) together for a couple of seconds.
