Question about Toshiba MK8025GAS 80 GB Hard Drive
My computer wouldn't boot windows so I took the hard drive out and reformatted it. Now I want to load a new version of windows xp on it. But the cd won't start doing its things. Do I need to do something to the hard drive to set it up to except windows?
1.Make sure the hard drive is installed correct and the bios found it.
2.In bios you have to put the cd/dvd as first boot and the hdd at second.
3.Load the original windows xp disk and restart saving changes in bios.
4.When prompt to pres any key do so.
5.Continue setup as new install. (if a miss one excuse as im thinking the step)
b.F8 I agree
f. C create partition
I.NTFS Quick Enter
Lets windows format copy some file and make a restart.
Keep windows setup all the way.
Install drivers and that it.
Let us know thanks.....Hope this help....
