If you are running XP or Vista, you can try doing a system restore to a date just before you deleted the files.
Depending on your OS, click on START>HELP AND SUPPORT and look for the heading that says System restore.
You will not lose any documents or emails that were created or recieved between the restore point and current.

Computer is full of virus

Remove all the junk files/software/unused items from system memory/Control Panel. When this is done, clean all associated registry/cache codes with the help of Ccleaner software. Now restore your system to the date when it worked fine and then perform a complete system scan with the help of some good antivirus software such as Norton, Immunet Plus, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Avast, Avira, Panda, Comodo etc. Virus threads will be detected and quarantined.

My computer is really slow unless i go into safe mode virus scan wont stay on i ran stinger it didnt fix it

HI,
Go into safemode again and download this link just click on download now to get the latest malwarebytes and run it on your computer then after delete the quarantined files and restart your computer this should make it faster again if tstill the issue is slow then you may have to re-format you windows just to make sure everything runs fine again removing a virus is not that easy depends if it detects the virus, malware or spyware that is slowing your system down.

try Malwarebytes it worked for me an many as I know if it does uninstall it and format everything.

I hope this helps.

I have a virus and i am want to know how to put my machine back to the original settings i have the os disc still it is an emachine serial number e3031.

Hi Kevmak13,
Before you re-install your operating system, you might want to try a few things to remove the infections. First, try booting up in safemode with networking. You can do this by tapping the F8 key immediately after pressing the power button to boot-up. Choose safemode with networking and wait for the computer to be up and running. Download malwarebytes' from here:
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/9942/
Install and run a quick scan. When it's done scanning, click "show results" and make sure that all boxes are checked and remove them all. After this, do not restart the computer yet. Go to the quarantine tab and delete all quarantined items. Exit malwarebytes' and restart your computer.
I hoe this helps, Cheers

When I scanned by System through Norten Antivirus........it diagnosed that csrcs.exe file/virus exists and must be cleaned/quarantined....so i quarantined it...when I started my system ..... after booting...

Its not a system file.
Try following

  • START-RUN,type there regedit(this will open system registry)
  • ctrl+F
  • Write csrcs(search now)
It'll show you some results, you'll find there "csrcs.exe",just delete it immediately.

If Its not over yet, again do the same search you may see "explorer.exe csrcs.exe" , left click then modify and remove the csrcs.exe part(leave the explorer.exe as it is)

Computer overtaken by automatic download

If Azureus opened and started downloading something, chances are it was an automatic update for it, and not a virus. Azereus is a pretty reliable torrenting program. Anyway, what you can do is download combofix. Then boot it in safemode with networking and run combofix. It should clear off any viruses you may have and fix your problems. Also, you may want to consider changing Anti-Viruses, as AVG, while decent, isn't always that reliable.

Yes it is fixable...but that depends on what you are willing to loose and what you have on hand.
Those items that are guaranteed...are still infections sitting on your computer.
I'm presuming that the "recovery" you did was the factory install of the operating system, already partitioned on the drive?
If that's the case, chances are that partition is infected as well.
What I would suggest, is to format the drive and install Windows XP if you have the disc.
Unfortunately, an infected computer.....is an infected computer. unless you are very knowledgeable and are comfortable with going into your registry and manually removing files related to those viruses...your computer will be on a never ending course of disaster, especially with 120 items.

Yes there are virus programs out there that can help, but none are 100% curable.
Do you have access to a Windows Xp Cd with a legitimate CD key....that would be your best bet...to start from scratch with a clean install....
