Power on password key code is 76292134 can u please help?

You've not exactly stated a problem there
iftheres tow possible codes, one is BIOS power on code, which you can usualy remove with a reset of the biios (see your manual) or if its some sort of drivelock key, and you have not backed up your long code, your pretty much stuffed.

How to reset the biios password

If it's a "Power up" password this can be removed by briefly dosconnecting the cmos battery from the system board. If it is the "Supervisor" password either send to Lenovo for replacement system board and hard drive (not covered under warranty) or send to me and I will return unlocked :-) Regards Paul.

Added ram and it does not register

There is a possiblity that you either put in bad memory, too large or a capacity of memory or the slot is damaged.

Usually when this happens the memory stick that you placed in is too small or to large for the slot. each motherboard has a specific capacity for memory. Check the model's capacity and divide by the slots to see how big a stick each slot can take.

you may also want to check the brands compatibility with your board or chipset. some memory does not work in all boards even if it is the size and style for it.

Ok first things first, did you just installed the video card?? if so remember to connect your monitors cable to the new video card's port. check your power supply meets the cards requirements. Cjeck you connected your power supply to the video card.
Did you do anything to the pc, Did you changed the biios settings. What did you do the last time you used your computer. If you messed with the bios, thres usually a jumper in the motherboard to reset the bios to defaults settings, It says clear cmos or something like that. You have to take it out and put it in the pins stated. wait 30 seconds and put the jumper back to it's original positon.
If is not this then be more specific so Me or anyother can help you out. Cheers.

Presario C700 keyboard problem

Hello Dan-0,

The problem probably does not rely on the BIOS, if anything your operating system may have detected the wrong keyboard. Can you give me an example of what keys exactly are coming out funny.. for instance when you press L does it show up 7 or @ or a character in a different language?

What operating system are you using? Windows/Linux, XP,Vista?
