At&T 8310 Blackberry. Delete all contact at one time, and from the sim card?
How do i delete all my contacts from my address and sim card? Also, i need to send a message to multi people but had to add a contact for each person instead of giving the option for multi contacts. How can this be done? Is there some freeware for this at&t 8310 phone to complete options?

You have the easiest option to copy all your contacts to your sim card and then copy it back to black berry. In order to do this you simply have to go to your phone book options and in the settgings you will find copy contacts to sim and then put the same sim in black berry and select copy contacts from sim.If your contacts are more than the capacity of your sim then you can select the contacts to copy and you have to do this twice or thrice depending on your sim's memory.

Hi, You can import phone data from a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card to the address book application on your BlackBerry smartphone.
Contacts in the address book can be saved to the SIM card individually. You cannot import data from the address book to the SIM card. To import a single contact, complete the following steps: 1)On the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen, open the Address Book. 2) Display the menu and select SIM Phone Book. The SIM phone book is loaded. 3) Select the contact you want to import, then select Add to Address Book. 4) In the New Address screen, add any additional information. Import all contacts, complete the following steps: 1) On the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen, open the Address Book. 2) Display the menu and select SIM Phone Book. I do tech support for BlackBerrys and I get this question a lot. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to copy contacts from a BlackBerry to the SIM card. If you're looking to make a backup copy of your contacts, it will be far easier to do it using the Backup and Restore function of the Desktop Manager program to copy the contacts to your computer. You can also synchronize them with Microsoft Outlook or even with your Yahoo! email account's address book and that, too, will probably be easier than copying them to your SIM card.
But if you're bound and determined to get the contacts on your SIM card, sadly the only way to do it is one contact at a time. Open up your address book and highlight an entry by scrolling on top of it. Press the menu key (the one with all the dots on it to the left of the trackball) and choose "view". From there, press the menu key again and scroll up to the option called "copy to SIM phone book." Click on that and it will copy that one entry to your SIM card. You'll need to repeat those instructions for every contact that you want on your SIM card.
It's definitely a hassle, but that's the only way it can be done. It's weird, too, cause you can copy all the entries at once from your SIM card to the BlackBerry, but not the other way around. Anyway, I hope this helps. Best of luck!
