If you mean a usb stick... plug it into a usb port on your computer.... it's plug and play.. it is basically a portable storage device... use it the same way you use the hard drive.

Dell Dimension 5100 Video Driver update needed

I've seen SB2.exe listed as a virus and I've seen it as a wargame. Can't find out anything as to how it reates to spongebob. As far as putting the driver on a flash drive. Go to Enter your Service Tag number. Now go to the driver list and select download only. When it asks for location make sure you indicate the flash drive. The download will be a file i.e. Rxxxxxxxx.exe. Now place the flash drive into the Dell, go to the flash drive and click the Dell file. Everything should fine after that. Just as a precaution, I suggest you download AVGFREE.exe, MALWAREBYTES.exe and SUPERANTISPYWARE.exe and run these.

Can't find one. flash reader shows up as drive f.

If it shows-up as 'F:', then the correct driver is installed.

Insert a flash-card into the flash-slot, and you'll be able to access the files on the flash-card.

Sony notebook asking for usb drivers for flash stick

Different versions of Microsoft Windows comes with different drivers. (I assumed you have a Windows Vista installed on your Sony Notebook). So, since I don't know the brand of your flash, the best thing you can do is let the Windows search for a drive online when the driver notification page comes up, or you can manually go to your flash's brand's web site and search for a driver for your particular Windows version. The best way for installing a new driver to Windows is, simplly install the manually downloaded driver before you plug in your flash, then restart your notebook and try plugging your flash afterwards.

Laptop does not recognize the flash-drive after it's pluged in.

there are some reasons why it does not work.
1- You do not have correct drivers for the flash drive, and the computer will not recognize the product. simply update the driver for the flash drive and it will work. To do this go to the flash drive companies site and search for product driver updates
2- You have damaged your flash drive to the point where windows will not even recognize it. To prove this, plug multiple usb devices into the port and test if they work, and test the flash drive in different ports in your laptop and other PCs. If it is still not working, then it is faulty and will not work. Purchase a new one if this is the case

Hope This Helps

Flash drive wont work on my computer

Hai Charnley
Your OS may not have the required driver for you flash/pen drive.
If its XP, most of the flash drive drivers are included in it and it will automatically get installed. After connecting the drive wait for the device driver to get installed.
If its not happpening, Try connect the drive to your computer, it will detect the device, note down the device name it display towards the right bottom of your screen.
Then with this device name, brows google and enter device name + 'driver' in the search field and click the search button.
U will be provided with numerous sites where from u can down load the driver for ur device.
good luck
