Check your power cord is plugged in both in back of the machine and the wall. They can easily get kicked loose be feet vacuums etc. On the back where the plug goes in there should be a switch flip it and try it. This is the main off on switch. Hard to bump off but it happens.
Past those then you are either looking at a power supply replacement if you see no lights etc or it could be a bad memory piece (or even loose if bumped hard enough). You can replace the power supply for under $40 and the ram can be $20. If you have to get someone to do it then labor on top. Both can easily be done at home. These are the only common hardware causes that act up like this. If it just died then it probably is the power supply. If it was acting up before it would be the ram and very slight chance of a motherboard and slighter chance of cpu.
If it is plugged in to a working outlet, you probably need a new power supply.
Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look on
both sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.
Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can toggle
the wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function
key located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12
key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will
have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a tower
with the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will display
Wireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.
Some laptops might have a wireless button instead of a wireless switch located above the keyboard or on the front or sides.
