Question about Kenwood Car Audio & Video
All components on your Amplifier should be labled. Ground Will go to any ground on your Vehicle Ex. A bolt under your trunk floor cover. Power has to be ran from your positive terminal onto your batter and throught the interior of your car to your amps 12v +. The MEMORY TERMINAL IS NEEDED FOR FUNCION! It will be between Ground and POWER or NEXT TO POWER.. This has to be ran to your cd players BLUE MEMORY wire or you can bypass it directly to the POWER, WARNING!!! if you use the bypass method, put a switch that you can pick up from any autozone or such between the two points to shut off the amp, other wise it will run constatly and kill your battery. The two RCA's have to be plugged into the back of your cd player and ran back to your amp and plugged into the Primary Slot (red-white) and finnaly the +.- speaker wires need to be ran to your subwoofers. Once all conected pop in a cd, adjust your cd players bass settings and also adjust your lows, mids, and highs on the amp to fine tune your speakers. IF you are looking to maximize your speaker wattage, you can use the bridge teqnuiqe. But beware you are going to doubble the ammount of power into each speaker. Take both positives, or if only one speaker just the single possitive, and place it into the Right SPEAKER insert on the Amp, and take both negitives and place it into the LEFT SPEAKER insert, and run the wires like normal to each speaker, 1 wire per - one wire per positive, in doing so both speakers run using maximized power usage
