Today i got a rascal329le mobility scooter and i did not get a manual with it and i dont know what the turtle switch is for, its above the speed knob in top right of 'dashboard' could you tell me what the turtle switch is for please?

There is no listed way to increase the speed past maximum. The maximum, speed is set to 5.5 mph.

Manual says

The scooter drives too slowly. - Turn the speed control knob to the right.

Here you go. It has a Speed Control Knob!! It is in the middle of the console and sets the maximum speed from the Levers.

hi, sounds like a issue with the tiller circuit board or are the batteries fully charged ? i seen this before on low voltage batteries. the tiller board etc need a minimum voltage to work around the 20+ voltage, any lower will cause the effect you describe..

The speed pot is the knob you use to go from turtle to rabbit. You can go to the website of the manufacturer to get a service manual

Is it a fortress scientific 2000? with the small console and 5 position
speed knob and the 1/4 inch phone jack "key"?

It could be battery problems or ECU problems i dont feel the problem stems from the dial or variable switch. if possible try and get a current tester and test how much power the battery's are actually producing. other than those suggestions i dont have any other fixes at present, keep me posted, best regards

You can download the service manual from Pride's website. It has the wiring diagram in it.

Yes it can, the controller thinks you have move the throttle lever so it is ready to drive. You need to center the throttle pot.

Hi. Sounds like you have accidently moved the high/low switch. Sometimes called the indoor/outdoor switch. Some switchs are marked with a turtle and a hare.
Check your manual for the position of the switch.
