Question about Star Logic 17" LCD Monitor
I have just recently attempted to update to service pack 3 which seemed to cause my computer to crash. After much to-do and many hours on the phone, we came to realize that only my monitor wasn't working. When I plugged my old, small flat screen monitor into the cpu I had no problems. The monitor is a starlogic and I've had it for about 4 years. I recall returning the monitor a couple of times because I had problems getting it to work with the settings that I already had on my computer. It seems that I had to adjust the refresh rate or something. Do you have any suggestions? My issue may be more difficult to fix but I thought I would check.
As i told somebody in another post, try to find a driver for this monitor. If it came with a disk try to get it from there otherwise the internet is a easy place to find this. What could've happened is when you installed servicepack 3, which is known for causing many problems, it may have deleted the driver that supported this monitor, even if the driver may have come already on the computer. This is only one of many solutions of which you can try. Hope it helps :)
