Normally, at least on an American grill hose/regulator assembly are a universal fit. And both ends of the hose have female couplings. I would think it would be the same on German Models too. For the connection to the grill, the hose coupling size is 3/8" ID.

My Weber Genesis Silver only lights on the first burner. The second and third burner are not lighting.

Close the propane tank valve and disconnect the hose/regulator from the tank. Reconnect the propane tank and very slowly open the tank valve. You may have opened the valve too fast causing the built-in excess flow to close to a trickle. If you still have issues, let me know and I'll dig deeper. Douglas

My weber genesis wont stay lit. i can light the

The new style2_bing.gif OPD valves have a small brass ring located in the female fitting on the LP tank. Over time this ring can work loose and then it does not allow the male fitting to fully depress the OPD valve thus reducing your gas flow
Using a small flat bladed screw driver tighten the small brass ring This should solve your problem
IF not you might want to remove the cap (white) on your regulator and try slowly adjusting the regulator, make small adjustments and try the BBQ My Weber if I set the front and back burners to MED I get right at 350 degrees in 60 degree outdoor temps. Adjusting the regulator will take some time to get it right but If it is not your tank it is most likely your regulator out of adjustment

Converting Weber Genesis Silver B from LP to Natural Gas

Hello...I have the same grill and want to do the same conversion...From my research, you need to drill out the three orifices with a size #53 wire gauge drill bit. ( this resizes each orifice to 12000 BTU's each, which the grill is rated at 36000 BTU's).Then remove the existing hose and regulator. Replace the hose with a Quick disconnect compression fitted hose. The NG supply needs to have a pressure regulator installed, with a shutoff and quick disconnect fitting installed. Connect the hoes from the grill to the supply, and fire it up...THIS IS WHAT I INTEND ON DOING TO MY GRILL,BUT YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK>>>
