Hi, I used my girlfriends new Ipod Nano on my itunes and it found and registered it ok but it wouldn't disconnect it said "do not disconnect". I managed to disconnect the Ipod Nano and now the PC won't even find the Ipod in Itunes or Window explorer? It will find the ipod nano on my girlfriends PC where I installed itunes. Is this a problem with my PC or the nano? itunes is an older version I think and I use it with my shuffle.
I have a similair problem. My iPod Nano refuses to appear in iTunes and now I cannot put songs on or take em off. I did try restarting my computer, and eventually I put my new CD on, but now it only appears as a drive in My Computer. Dont go looking for help from the Apple website, all they'll do is make you want to get a Mac. :p
WindowsXP?, Vista? MAC ( i doubtit)? hint: some platforms (Win, MAC,Linux.. require to update software that are compiled by vendor with CROSSPLATFORM products this is normal the ipod is ok and the PC is OK, but make shure that as soon u can keep on eye to up date ur drivers .

Is your ipod nano fully charged? and your installed iTunes the latest version?
Please make sure it is charged, and the new iTunes is downloaded and installed from here please do the following steps:
Connect ipod nano to PC. Make sure iTunes is already open prior to connecting it.
If this is the first time you are connecting then your PC will automatically install Apple Mobile Device Driver.
Once installation of the driver is complete, you should see the ipod nano logo appear within iTunes very soon. and start using it.
first you have to download itunes at http://www.apple.com/itunes/
then you connect your ipod to your pc and itunes should start
you will have the option register
and i would recommend you to register so you can download the latest firmware for your ipod
less bug YEAHHH
Good luck and don't forget to disconnect safely your ipod with itunes and windows option in the taskbar
Use iTunes 8 to sync or delete songs, photos, etc.
Just connect the iPod to computer, download iTunes 8 from the internet, open iTunes 8, and then double-click on the icon of the iPod Nano to Sync files to your Nano.
