Question about Refrigerators
The voltage to my ice maker is 39 VAC. The ice maker module is good. What is causing the low input voltage???
Comment regarding catriver Aug 18 post: Shorting L&V caused valve to work I believe, at least I think I heard it operate, but shorting T&H did not cause gear to move. So does that indicste a different problem? Still no ice. JimB

SOURCE: Ice maker not working
the icemaker will run at 120v ac +- 10% so 108 v is within range altho marginally. since you have the icemaker removed. remove the front cover and check to see if the drive gear is broken or if the 2 center pins that hold the gear in place are twisted or broken. this is most likely the problem. the motor module can be replace very easily part # is 8201515
the normal home position for this icemaker is at the 2:00 position facing the front of the icemaker. if it is any other position the motor module is almost always the culprit..

The the rubber fill spout was frozen with ice. Also the reservoir that acts as a funnel for the fill spout was frozen with ice. Cleared the ice and all works fine!
