the icemaker will run at 120v ac +- 10% so 108 v is within range altho marginally. since you have the icemaker removed. remove the front cover and check to see if the drive gear is broken or if the 2 center pins that hold the gear in place are twisted or broken. this is most likely the problem. the motor module can be replace very easily part # is 8201515

the normal home position for this icemaker is at the 2:00 position facing the front of the icemaker. if it is any other position the motor module is almost always the culprit..

Icemaker not working

You may want to test the ice maker voltage to the fill valve( using a short length of insulated 14 guage wire, with both ends stripped, and a multi meter or test light attached the the icemaker fill valve wires, insert the end of the wire into the "T" and "H" openings in the front of the ice maker, hold the wires there until the main gear starts to rotate, then remove the wire. When the rake arm reaches the 12 o'clock to 1 o'clock position, the control module should send 120 VAC to the fill valve and the light or meter should indicate the voltage is present.

Please post back your results so I may help you further.

Why is my ice maker filling up my ice tray with water then freezing it like a block of ice?

There are some adjustments that you can do if you carefully follow the instructions in the video below. I also have a Whirlpool Ice Maker Troubleshooting and Service Manual upon request. Your 67003753 Water Inlet Valve=> 67003753 Water Inlet Valve could be leaking and creating this block of ice. For most Whirlpool/Maytag brand ice makers is is cheaper to replace the core module part number=> D7824706Q Ice Maker Module. Reason being the individual parts add up to more than the cost of all those parts together. Now if interested you can request a Whirlpool Ice Troubleshooting Service Manual by filling out the capsha=> HERE Reason I don't place the manual's here because Whirlpool ask me not to do so, but I will be glad to send you one. The manual is the solution but the most complete module or replacing water valve is the cheapest route. Below is how it is explained a little simpler. If I can help you in any way please ask, Thanks, Sea Breeze
If helpful please rate this solution.

That is a Whirlpool module type ice maker that seems to have has been so strict with their information I will need to give the manual's another way about a 5 year life span. I have some manuals but because Whirlpool stopped letting people post what they believe is their property. I guess I need to only understand but if I place them here I will lose my subscription. Click Here=> My E-Mail and I will send it to you. May have to fill out the capsha first. Below is what I am talking about as far as how they work and yes I have the schematics and tech sheets, I will look to hear from you, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Ice maker will not dump

Good day,
It has to be the ice maker itself, as long as the temp in the freezer is at or below 14 degrees, and the lever is in the down position.
2 items internally can cause the problem. One is the front module which is a quasi-solid state component and the control thermostat which is behind it and requires a complete dissasembly of the ice maker to access it.
Most will simply replace the ice maker.
If you feel you want to try a repair, remove the ice maker, and let it sit on the counter for 24 hours to dry out.
Pull the front of the wire lever out of the body of the ice maker. Pry the front cover off the ice maker. You will see 3 screws holding the module in place. Remove them, and pry the module off.
Re-install. The point is the electrical contacts are press to fit and one or more might have failed to make a good electrical contact. Reassemble and reinstall the ice maker.
Rarely works but your option. Replacing the module and thermostat are not cost effective.

Good day,
Make sure the wire is inserted properly. If it is, then the module is failing. You can buy the module itself but there are many other parts to an ice maker and it is not considered to be long term cost effective. Most replace the ice maker complete.

To be sure. Remove the ice maker, unscrew the module and remove. Try resetting it 2 or three times, then re-install. If there is no improvement, replace the ice maker.

Ice maker issues

The boards put the 120 volts to the ice maker. If you open the door the red light on the board in the center should blink two time repeatedly. If you push the flap on the left in the light should be solid. If you push in the light switch for the door the light should go out.
