Problem for Motorola V551

V500 fell down now does not work

my v500 fell down from my bed, now when i try to turn it on, the keyboard lights on, the start music can be heard, but no screen, NO SCREEN, i tried to dial a known phone number just dialing and sending without seening it in the screen but it doesn't works. Please help.
my cellphone is a Motorola V500

Dear see if u mobile is working mean if it is connecting to help line its mean its signal are ok just screen prob. for screen if it is not broken then it is prob from the flate cable reconnect it if not ok then replace it but only if the call in connecting. will be ok

Most of the time when a phone is dropped or banged they break the header pins inside the phone and isent worth the repair as its cost prohibited. Best thing to do is see if you have service from your provider . if not taker the phone back to where you got it and see if it still has a warranty on it.

they have two damage parts, one is the LCD, two is the flex ribbon wire. i think u have to replace a new one of them. or both.

Same occurred on my V551 except my phone did work so if, in fact, this one doesn't work, it doesn't bode well. I found that the flex cable had popped off the LCD PC board. Pushed it back on and all was OK. It is worth checking before scrapping the phone.
