USB Driver My zen is not recognized by the usb. It says it does not have a driver, so what do I do??

Does other USB devices work on your computer?
If your USB ports are OK then then Zen may need a driver installed.

If not then -
There could be a problem with the USB ports on your computer
or
The USB driver is corrupted or not installed properly

If all fails, then download the MP3 files from your friend's computer, you might have to bribe your friend.

most computers have lots of USB inputs. my frnt USB cords don't work on my MP3 but I plugged it into my back USB port and it work fine...Just try to use other USB ports

try to use other usb connector maybe connector problem. or try to use the connector using your other mobile like ipod or mp4 or more...to prove your connector okey or not, good condition
if you have other driver of your zen try to use it maybe your installer from cd encounter small broken

plug your zen into pc usb. then go to start menu, find the folder containing your zen drive. You can copy and plaster or drag and drop your files into your zen here this way. If your pc is not recognizing your zen, then make sure you have the lastest updated driver for zen on your pc. This driver must be installed and up-to-date for your pc to recognize your zen

Go into device manager in control panel in add/remove hardware and find the usb port its plugged into and uninstall then reinstall the driver.

Turn off CPU, Unplug Power cable, And all usb devices, let it sit for about 20mins. Plug it all back in. Turn on the CPU! Also make sure if your device requires "DRIVERS" or if you have a CD download and install that before anything.

Try going to the control panel - hardware and delete
the Zen [ make sure your Zen is unpluged ] once delete
plug your Zen back in and see if this does the trick

I'm having the exact same problem. My zen is 'charging' but isn't detected anywhere on my pc and I'd leave it charging for days but nothing happens. I've tried different usb ports, reinstalling the software several times but nothing. I recently reinstalled Windows and with my new pc my Zen cannot work on it for some reason?! I put previous files from my old pc onto my Zen hoping that I could transfer them onto my new Windows pc but I fear I've lost the data on my Zen completely. Arggh, any suggestions guys? Please..x
