The printhead is the part that moves back and forth. It is stopped electronically. There are no "stops" per se. What does the part look like? If everything works properly, it could be a forien object, that is, something that was not actually part of the machine.

Knob on jenn aire under counter oven fell off. I lined it up and put it back on but it spins 1/8 of the way before it works. It doesn't look broken.

THere is a pin in the middle of the PLASTIC knob that probably broke off. It is not your fault, just cheap construction. Order the part, you have the code!!

How to put a thread cutter in husqvarna viking desinger se sewing machine

I believe the plastic cover (gray?) toward the end of the arm (left of the needle plate) is removable by prying (gently) on the front edge and sliding toward you. Unless the cutter is broken, you should be able to figure out how itall fits back together.

My husband fell into the television and the front screen popped out. Can we put it back in ourselves? It is not broken

You should be able too. You will need a torx #20 driver bit to remove the bezel around the screen. Carefully... The screen can be easly scratched

Stopper has dislodged.

Hello. It is probably not broken. In order to fix it, you must go under the sink and above the trap. You will see where the lever for the stopper is attached and can be adjusted. If necessary look under another working sink with a similar set up. Joe

Need Help putting the bobbin case back in the futura ce 100?????

With the needleplate removed, locate the black plastic bobbin case in horizontal and level position with the "bull horn" facing the rear, so the needle has space to move....

Gently place finger on top edge and move bobbin case, there ought to be a small amount of movement (1 or 2 mm slack) to allow passage of thread past the stopper spring (at front right)
If there is no slack at this position, have you adjusted anything to "tighten it up a bit", if so, relax the stopper spring by an "almost nothing" amount (again, 1 - 2 mm) to allow the thread to form the stitch.

....if you have had some needle strikes and damaged the surface, fine emery paper may be used to smooth the damage, if significantly scored, replace the bobbin case.

Buttonholes

Can you do an ordinary reverse stitch, if not, the reverse mechanism may be jammed, that will need some further internal exploration,

BUT, if you can, then:

The sensor arm that pulls down from the machine needs to be between the carriage stoppers, this tells the machine how large the button is, therefore, when to change direction.

The Kenmore is similar (same?) as Janome I believe and so should be very similar to this image.

Ensure that the sensor arm is pulled down between these two plastic stoppers at points maked with red, if the arm is at the rear of stopper, it will not do the cycle, just continue.

Only reset the machine after each completed buttonhole, if reset in mid cycle you will be starting a new cycle before it is time.

Do a couple of tests on some scrap fabric before you commit.
