Nokia Charging Problem

Hi, this is what you do when your phone refuses to charge..

1. Read the battery charging terminal if it is continually. 2. Read the board interface if it continually on the charging interface. 3. Read the charging put on continuity if it is continually. 4. If they are all contacting, still not charging, then you service it by W/H i.e. washing and heating. 5. If not still charging, you trace the charging interface with another board by means of looping.

REMEMBER: The process by which you connect a tinny copper for an external construction, or a unit interface which is known as looping. 6. If it does not charge it them means that the charging IC is bad.

ALTERNATIVELY: You may advice the person to buy a universal charger or desk top charger and extra battery for a better charge.

I had replaced with a new battery and its just worked for one and form after next days it dont get charged.....the shopkeeper says the mobile is not getting charged.......

In case the battery is not getting charged. It can be due to 3 reasons

1. The power adapter through which you are tryiing to charge the battery is u/s Check with another adapter and see if its charging then the problem is with the charger else.

2. Take out the battery and put it on another phone and try to charge it. If it is charging then the problem is with the mobile charging point and not the battery. If not charging then the problem is with the battery only.

3. Mobile charging point is not working due to which the battery is not charging to check this out just put your battery on another phone and check if its charging. If charging then you are required to get your charging point on your mobile repaired.

Have you use another similar charger to charge the phone to see if it will charge? If you have and yet the phone did not charge, the problem could be from the phone charging port, you will need to replace the phone charging port befoire the phone can charge.

If the charging port i replace, the phone will charge.

Have you try to use another charger to charge it to see if it will charge, because it could be that your charger is bad, if you have and it did not charge, no problem.

It means the charging port of your phone is bad that is why your phone is not charging.

All you need to do is to change the charging port of your phone, changing the charging port of your phone will make your phone charge because the one there at the moment is bad.

Change the charging port and you will see that your phone will charge.

Take care.

Not charging

The faults might fall into the following,
1.The charger may be bad
2. The battery may be bad
3. The charging ic may be bad

1. First of all, check your battery if it is still good, you can do this by inserting it into another phone, if it does not charge, then the battery is bad and you have to get a new one. But if it charge in the other phone, then it's either the phone charger or the charging i.c that is bad.
2. Try testing you phone with another charger, if it charges the you initial charger is bad and if the new charger does not charge the phone, the charge port or charging ic is bad. It means you have to change the charging i.c
3. Alternatively, i will advice you to get a universal or desktop charger to charge your battery should incase the charging i.c is bad.

OK, on the first original charge that is required when you first purchased this unit, it can charge for at least 8 to 10 hours. this is called a set up charge. After the first original charge, it is recommended to not charge over the set amount of time given by the actual cell unit. your phone will beep or, display a completed charge message after the charge has been completed successfully. if you go over the set charge, this can damage most cell battery's. Standard charge time after the original set charge is 2 hours.

Phone won't charge

Hi, The Li-ion battery cahrging circuitary is some what complex. For most chargers, the charging procedure is divided into three main phases: ? Pre-charging phase ? Constant-current-charging phase ? Constant-voltage-charging phase In the Pre-charging phase, it utilizes low charging current to protect the battery. However,in most recharging situations, the charged batteries still have some voltage remaining, so the charger does not need to apply this action, and just passes it on to the next charging phase. The constant current and voltage charging phases are the main charging phase for recharging the batteries, where most of the charging energy is transformed into the battery. The maximum charging current for a battery depends on the battery?s rated capacity. For example, one battery rated 700 mAh usually can be charged at 350 mAh to 400mA, for faster charging effort. When the charged battery is Li-Ion, in the last charging procedure, the microcontroller normally maintains regular charging voltage while monitoring charging current to determine when the charging procedure should be completed. When the battery is fully charged, most of the electrical energy is converted to thermal energy, which can result in high battery temperature. In this case, the temperature monitoring function will be added for the solution. But since most Li-Ion batteries on the market also have an over-charging protection function, the temperature detect function is rarely used. So it is better to get your phone charging circuitary checked at a local store rather than to make a charger, coz both may cost you almost same. all the best my friend. regards sreejith
