Question about HP DesignJet 1050c plus InkJet Printer
Can someone tell me what this is?? i have repaced the printheads but still get thsi error
That error sometimes means that there is a leak in the tube system, causing air to enter the printheads thus further causing the printheads to dryfire. have you noticed that you have been replacing printheads more often than normal. if you have ruled out the drop detector and are still getting the error, then replace the tubes. you may have to replace one or more printheads as well because dryfires permenantly damage the nozzles. Good Luck!

That error indicates that the drop detector is not working. If a Print Quality test shows that the pens are working and nothing is blocking the inside of the drop detector, perform the Service Station calibration. If the error doesn't clear, then replace the detector assembly.
