A fuse blew in my 1993 volvo 850 sadan radio. I replaced the fuse but now it shows off. I need the code to it.

You need to call a Volvo dealership (parts department) and tell them your battery went dead and you need the radio code. Before you do, pull out the radio by pushing the tabs on both sides. Then write down the serial number, and check for the code on the radio before calling them. You may need your VIN number from your car as well. Some dealerships will do this for free, and others want around $100.

Battery went flat now no radio. The Motor vehicle Dealers where I purchased this second hand *** import have no record of the code to unlock the radio. My Honda is a 2005 Honda Fit

If the dealer cannot help then you must contact the support site of Honda to help you out.
Only if these codes are set the radio will work. Please check to see if the owners manual is market with these codes as most often dealers put them in. Also check the service centre where the car was serviced periodically.

Needs radio code after battery went dead. 2001 Mercedes benz e 430 4 matic.

Hi there,
You will need to contact any Mercedes Benz Service center with your VIN from the vehicle. They may also need you to provide evidence of your ownership for the vehicle. This is a standard precaution associated with security codes. Only the owner of the vehicle is allowed the information. They will give you the code from records kept against the vehicle.

Have an alpine radio. twice, it has gone dead, will not turn on, power up,etc first time, battery went dead few days later and when recharged radio came back. have has some electrical troubles with...

sounds to be a drain of sorts. Do you have a good ground to the radio? If so the radio may be sticking open in the switch circuit and blows the relay buzz fuse and then after the power is removed the ciruit resets itself. If this is the case there is a dead short inside the radio

I have 2002 GMC Envoy. I put a new radio in and it say's locked. How do I get it to unlock.please help

Newer Gm radios are usually coded to the vehicle. If the radio you installed is out of a different vehicle you simply need to go to dealer and have them code new unit to your vehicle.

Battery went dead and locked radio

if the radio needs a code it will be in the car handbook or if that is unavailable the only other option is to ring the manufactorier to obtain the 4 or 5 digit code be sure to write it down incase this problem occurs again
