If you have replaced the toner cartridge but it is still displaying "low toner: Try the following:
Open the front cover of the machine and turn off the power
Hold down the "Go" button and power the machine back on, while holding down the button.
All the lights should light up, when they do release the button.
Press the "Go" button once and the lights will go out.
Press the "Go" button once or twice till the Toner/Drum/Paper lights are on again.
Now tap the "Go" button 6 time and all the lights should go out.
Close the cover and turn the machine off and then on again.
OR
Open the cover of the machine and remove the drum and toner.
Remove the toner from the drum unit and put just the drum unit into the machine.
The machine should indicate "toner empty".
Open cover and re install the drum and toner together - Close cover.
You see these machines needs to be kept very well. 1. the machine is not sensoring your toner. a) need for the machine to be serviced it probably has a lot of spill toner inside. b) toner empty sensor is not positioned properly. b) the toner empty sensor is not functioning properly and needs to be changed.
The machine is indicating that toner is empty and flashing light means you have to replace it with the new one.Buy a new toner for your copier and install it.This error will remove.
No you should not empty this bottle. It is designed to keep the excess toner inside itself and should be disposed of properly.

You could try going into the sp modes and check sp 5052-1 this is for independent toner check if the toner cartridge was checked by the copier as empty and you refilled it the machines check of the chip still senses it empty by turning this off it could reset it for you .. I have had some mixed results sometimes it works only occasional failure.. Hope it helps Good Luck A
There are 2 waste toner cartridges, be sure to empty these 2 cartridges
. If you remove the waste toner in both cartridge it will automatically
clear the error message.
If the signs that is blinking red which is shape like triangle , it is the toner cartridge indicator. The toner cartridge is empty.Try to pullout and check the toner cartridge, if it is light in weight it is already empty.
A common mistake is that people think that the waste toner needs to be emptied and instead the toner needs to be replaced --- and vice versa. Check to make sure that the toner bottle is not empty. Also, if you made copies that took ( used ) more toner then the machine was able to replenish, the machine has not had a chance to catch up. Place a white sheet of paper on the platen glass and make blank white copies. You may only be able to get 1-2 copies at first but as the device catches up with the toner replenish you should be able to make more. The blank copies you make -- do NOT put that paper right back into the machine. Lay it flat and let it cool, this will help prevent unwanted jamming due to heat build up in the paper. IF you have good amount of new toner in the machine, gently tap the front line ( or rear line) that feeds the used toner into the waste bottle. Sometimes the waste toner will clog and back up into the machine giving false 'waste toner full' message.
There really isn't enough information given to give a proper solution. This copier has the drum light come on steady or flashing to indicate the waste toner needs to be removed. I don't know if you're a technician or not but lay people have emptied the toner cartridge instead of removing the drum, removing the cap on top of the drum, emptying the waste toner , replacing the cap on the drum, then putting the drum back into the copier. I've never had a copier keep the drum light on after doing this.
(blinking every 5 seconds)
Toner Low
Indicates that the toner cartridge is nearly empty. Purchase a new toner and have it ready for when Toner Empty is indicated.
(solid)
Toner Empty
Replace the toner cartridge with a new one.
