My Hitachi DVD camcorder Model DZ-MV550a won't eject the DVD from the camcorder. I have done everything in the manual and I still can't get it open. I even have put a brand new charged battery in. Please help

The door might be stuck. Try "helping" it open manually after pressing the eject button. Otherwise, something is probably broken and you might have to call a repairman.
