Question about Hitachi 61UWX10B 61" Rear Projection Television
We had the same overnight issue repair guy came out quoted one price ended up another anyhow the problem he said is it's a bad blue crt can we change this our self or do we need someone to do it and he quoted over 2000 saying the crt is the picture tube hmm it's a hitachi 61uwx10b. Thanks

Sounds like a bad convergence circuit, unless you know how to use a meter and solder well you will need to call a reapir man. This repair should run you anywhere from $300-$500 depending on your area and the tech that comes out. If you were to do it yourself it would run less than $100.
