Have you tried e-bay? tobad you could use a white sheet or somthing. Ive read those tvs can go out of focus when you try and transport them. The lenses and stuff get hot them work loose then when you move them they are all out of whack. Would be the pits to spend some big bucks on a new screen then find out its not even in focus anymore.
I replaced the screen on my 62 inch projection TV for about $50 and the the picture quality is good! Have a sheet of plexiglass cut to the EXACT size needed. BEFORE installation it MUST be frosted on both sides by either a fine particle sandblaster or by sanding it VERTICALLY on BOTH sides with a power sander and a fine grade paper. If this is only an OUTER protective screen and the image is projected on the inner screen then DO NOT frost the replacement screen, just install it.

I purchased from a couple the Mitsubishi Projection TV 70" Model: VS- 70707 Serial (if this helps): 108071 and I got it into the house (handled with extreme care) and plugged it in and tried to turn it on. Everytime I try to turn on the TV I press the power button and the TV does the sound that it's going to start up for about a second and then turns right back off. I tried the holding "MENU" and "INPUT" technique and it worked. I got the blinking timer code which was "20". After holding down both buttons for 5 seconds the timer green light blinked 2 times then paused and blinked another 2 times. I was trying to see what the problem is and if it can be fixed easily (which I doubt) or if I need a professional to come out. If I do need one coming out should I call Mitubishi Support Center? I bought the TV from some people and I don't have warranty (I don't mind spending money getting the TV fixed, it's a 72" inch which is nice and big!) I don't know what year it is. Here are links to 2 pictures of the TV so you know exactly what your dealing with. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h118/Roskeet69/DSC06120.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h118/Roskeet69/DSC06121.jpg Please help me out as I want to get this TV working. Thanks a lot, Roscoe Hanner.

I am thinking of purchasing a MAYFLASH - TV AV Video System Converter PAL to NTSC.The product says it only works on the NTSC 50Hz compatible TV, auto sync TV or NTSC TV with a V-hold button. Will it work on my Mitsubishi VS70707 TV, which is 60HZ?
