May be caused by: ? An incorrect antenna mast installed for the antenna base equipped with the vehicle ? Poor ground at the antenna base or radio ? Poor battery ground to chassis or engine ? Poor antenna cable connection at Radio ? Corrosion at the antenna coaxial connectors at radio or antenna Service Vehicles are equipped with either a Bosch or a Clarion antenna base mounted on the roof and (for shipping purposes) the appropriate matching mast is located in the luggage compartment. If radio antenna masts are removed from vehicles and stored until vehicles are sold, there is a chance that an incorrect mast can be installed at the time of delivery. Note: Mismatched antenna mast and base will cause poor AM radio reception. The antenna base and mast can be identified visually as follows: (Cont. on Page 2)91-A260 requires gloss finish antenna mast 57mm 49mm Bosch 91-A261 requires matte finish antenna mast 61mm 41mm Clarion 91-A262 Technical Bulletin Important! My 2002 honda civic tape is showing an error code after i replaced the battery and i put in the wrong code.. When holding down th numbers 1 and 6 it shows the following numbers:. U3000 L4175 Any...

for you to obtain the code, you have to go through your car manual carefully and also through the security booklet that comes with it when it was bought. the code is usually about 5 digits long for some honda cars and consisting of numbers between 1 to 6. although it is written under a topic like radio security or something similar depending on your car manual. in summary go through all the booklets on your car and you should find it. it is advisable you write it down somewhere to prevent stress from future occurrences.
hope this helped you? please rate

I have a 2000 cadillac sls. Battery ran down, can't use radio&CD

Try disconnecting your battery for 10 minutes to reset the radio and factory amp. Disconnect negative terminal only and avoid touching your 8mm wrench to the positive post(s). Read the warnings on top of the battery about smoking and open flames and safety glasses too, or you can read the owner's manual and pull the radio memory fuse for 10 minutes.
