Question about HP Photosmart 7450 InkJet Printer
I have now tried 2 HP make 57 series color cartridges in my printer and on each occasion I get a flashing red light and 'Print Cartridge is Incompatible'. The cartridges are new and look fine and click happily into the cradle, so why always this message? Is there any way of resetting the printer? I also added a new HP 56 in the other slot, but this was accepted without any problems.
Pleas be certain to remove the clear tape from the cartridge before inserting. Check the contact areas in the printer to ensure there is no tape residue or other material in this area. Go to the HP website and follow the troubleshooting instructions for this problem.
