SOURCE: how to disassemble our lg dryer that is not drying correctly

as always before you open it be sure to unplug the unit. i believe there are a couple of screws on the back to slide the top cover off. the cover will need to be pushed back then lifted up. from there there are two or four screws on the inside holding the front contol panel on. behind the control panel are four? screws that hold the top off the front cabinet on. then there are two screws inside the door just below the lint trap. when you take those off you tilt the panel forward and lift off. be carefull as the front is heavy and will fall forward if not braced. also be careful not to cut yoursefl when removing the wire harness for the door, as i have cut myself many time on the sheet metal, and yes it just pulls apart. after that you should be able to see the screws holding the ducting to the blower housing. before you do all this i tust you have already checked the outside vent to make sure there are no obstructions. if not and ther is good airflow the problem my be with a thermistor. is it electic or gas?

SOURCE: Food Deposits left on dishes

I had an old machine with a similiar problem & I found that food had somehow entered into the arm that spins & sprays out water. The food blocked somewhat the holes which of course means less cleaning.

SOURCE: "CD" ERROR ON LG WM-3677HW Front Load All-in-One Washer / Dryer

CD means cool down, press the pause start button, the door lock will open. It is an anti crease cycle. It mentions it in the owners manual, but it is hidden deep in the drying section.

can you tell me please if all the dishes aren't drying or just the ones on the top rack. i am assuming you have selected the dry at the control panel, if so, you may have a burned out heater element in the bottom of the dishwasher or a non functioning thermostat at the heater. let me know if I can help you further.

How do you fix a noisy whirlpool dish washer DU1100XTP(Q) ?

A hard object has entered the wash module (on some models).
When the object is ground up, the sound should stop. If the
noise persists after a complete cycle, call for service.

Model # dwu7702aae has heat delay light coming on during cycle. Why?

Heater is used to both heat water during clean cycle and dry dishes after wash cycle. Most washers have either a separate switch for Heat or Dry for optional use, or some have the water heat and dish dry options built into cycle set options.

You can save money by turning off the Dish Dry option since it is a very in-efficient way to dry dishes. Instead, open the wishwasher door after washing cycle completes, just enough so fresh air can get into, and humid air can escape, dishwasher.

Water Heat option is only needed for dried food on dishes, and is never needed if dishes are either rised off before putting them in the dishwasher, or rinsed off inside the dishwaser with a Rinse cycle, if they are to stand for a time waiting for a full dishwasher for wash.

Dishwasher does not dry the dishes thoroughly

I have a GE dishwasher with poor drying. One service call said to make your water hotter and us a jet dry rinse. Not any better. Another call went to GE, this time they have a vent kit to help push out the steam and the computer will be reprogrammed to allow a longer dry time. Will have this done when the parts arrive at my home. Then the repair man will install and make computer adjustments. Looks like GE knows they have a problem but won't fix it until you complain more than once and demand a fix. For all GE dishwasher owners with this problem start calling the customer service.
