by the way I am running a windows xp home edition version 2002 sp3, I cannot believe that both units I bought are defective....that does not make any sense to me....they would not stay in business selling these adapters if they come off the assembly line defective.....if you cannot come up with any other ideas ...I suggest that you don't know how to help me and I will not pay for bad advise here!...sorry but that is the way I see it from this end

Hi,
Welcome to Fixya. This is not a driver problem of usb because the Logiix is working fine. Are you using an external card reader or the built in card reader of your computer when connecting the Nexxtech adapter? Can you also provide the make and model of the computer. Please provide the information needed to be able to fix the issue.
Thanks

Thanks for the info. since the card reader is working fine there's no need to any driver and the reader was able to read various cards. Logically speaking In this case most likely that the Adapter is not working properly or it is bad. It does not mean that if the device is a brand new one it can't be defective. If you can return the card adapter to the store you purchase it and ask for a replacement since you were not able to use it.

There are no drivers needed for the micro sd adapter. If your card reader is working fine with other cards then the only thing that is new is the adapter it would only means that it is bad. Why don't you bring it to the store where you purchase it and ask them to test it and see what i mean. There are no other work around for this product. This is just a plug and play device.

My PC will not recognize my 2GB Micro SD Card

Does the PC recognize the adapter when you place onto the USB port? If not, try another USB port. It should atleast say it has detected hardware, see if it's finding and installing the drivers correctly.

If it's not the adapter, could you reformat the microsd card? Perhaps, it is corrupted? Is this SDHC or SD (what capacity). Older Blackberries do not support SDHC (I believe this is 4gb or above), perhaps this has something to do with it.

I hope this helps,
Bill

Micro sd card not working

I'm having the same problem with a Transcend 4GB microSDHC card / microSD adapter. I have also found it probably has something to do with the card reader...either the card reader is an SD card reader trying to read an SDHC card OR the card reader is not able to read high-gigabyte SD cards (over 1 GB in some cases).

Just purchased the kinsington bluetooth micro adapter. Vista loads the Toshiba Bluetooth stack software, but will not recognize the adapter (dongle) when I insert it. I have tried other usb ports and...

It is possible that the adaptor is not compatible with your version of windows vista, despite what the system requirements for the device say.

Below is a link where you can download the latest driver for your bluetooth adaptor. Support XP sp1, sp2, and vista. Try this driver
