Question about GE Microwave Ovens
Manufacturer warranties never cover any incidental costs such as transporting the unit for service or installation.
I would suggest taking the microwave back to the dealer for an exchange if you haven't already.
(After 30 days in most cases, it cannot be returned but instead must be repaired by a GE-authorized servicer. You can find a GE-authorized servicer by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-848-7620)
I would insist that the installer test the new one before transporting or installing it.
