    Follow the steps below
    1. Select any channel on the TV.
    2. Point your Sky+ remote control away from the TV and press the tv button.
    3. Press and hold down the Select and red buttons simultaneously on the Sky+ remote control until the red light at the top of the Sky+ remote control flashes twice.
    4. Input the 3 digit number from the Sky+ remote control codes then press the Select button. The red light at the top of the Sky+ remote control should flash twice.
    5. Point the Sky+ remote control at the TV and try the volume button.
?? If this works try the other TV functions.
?? If these work then the correct code has been selected.
?? It's important to note that not all TV functions will be supported by the Sky+ remote control e.g. Picture in Picture.
If all functions do not work correctly, then repeat steps 1 - 3 and work through all the relevant 3 digit numbers from the Sky+ remote control codes, until you find the code which supports all or as many of the TV functions as possible.
Please note: In order to operate both your TV and Sky+ with your Sky+ remote control, you will be required to switch modes e.g. to switch on your TV from stand-by, you would need to press “TV” followed by the “Stand-by” button. Then to change channel on your Sky+ you would need to press the “Sky” button followed by the “TV guide” button.

I have a Panasonic TX-P42ST30B Flat TV which wont Turn on. I DO know that. F102 is open Circuit and that Either D204 OR D216 are short Circuit What should be my first approach to this problem? Thanks.

Problem you have described requires trained service personnel. Your description indicates that you probably should take this to a TV shop. If you don't know which diode, diodes don't usually short, you really should not be working inside this TV. There are dangerous voltages inside that can hurt you.

Panasonic 2011 42" plasma Tc-p42st30, 14 blink code. I've checked the non-grounded pins at the connectors on the A, P and S boards as not short to ground. Fuses on the P-board are good. See below..

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Panasonic TX-32LZD81 LCD TV remote control no longer affects the set. Original installation (18 months ago) TV remote operated TV OK and SKY remote operated SKY. NOW Panasonic remote non-effective and SKY...

Hi, sometimes if multiple buttons on a remote are pressed at the same time, the remote will try and send both codes and the unit it is designed to control won't respond because it doesn't recognize the signal. Those signals are usually sent no matter what button is pressed after until you do a reboot on the remote. You can go here to find the reboot instructions: https://www.remotes.com/Articles.asp?ID=273

Panasonic TX P50V10B Plasma TV

In order to get any of the Freesat channels, you need to connect a Satellite dish to your TV. If you have a Sky dish, you simply need to run an extra Cable from the LNB from the dish and connect to your socket on the back of your TV.
In order to get Freeview channels and Analogue channels, you need to connect a aerial to the back of the TV.
There is a menu option for the TV to start straight to the AV input (your Sky HD box). It is Menu > Setup > Other Settings > Power on Preference. Select 'AV' for your TV to start on Sky HD.
Also even if you have your TV to start on TV, when you turn on your Sky HD box, it should automatically switch to the Sky box.
