The remote control for Zenith TV Model No. SY1931SG was lost during a move. Can't find site where I might be able to replace it.

Remotes.com lists 2 remotes for the H2530Y. They do not have either of the original remotes in new condition. They have a used version of the Guest remote.

They also have the substitute remotes for both. The substitute Master remote (which will program the TV) is here: http://remotes.com/store/zenith/h2530y_master.html . The available guest remote is here: http://remotes.com/store/zenith/h2530y_guest.html . The substitute remotes should match all of the functions of the original equivalent remote.

It is possible that those buttons have failed, but a bit more likely the remote lost the codes for the TV itself... since almost everything the remote controls... is on the DVR. I apologize if I am guessing wrong in assuming other "TV" buttons (like INPUT) don't function either.

To re-program your remote to recognize your TV (like when the tech first set up the system) choose from the following receiver types to find the correct remote control TV codes for your Zenith.

your TVs front panel control swwiches are in trouble. Replace all of the at the same time will resolve the problem.

not sure what year this tv is, but I had some where the tuner was bad and would be stuck on video. The only way is replacing the tuner. Or you may want to try hooking up a vcr into the video audio jacks and run the channels from the vcr it may work yet.

The tv has lost the menu,in order for the menu to come up in the screen it needs horizontal and vertical sync,the syncs come from the secondary of the flyback and from the vertical Ic.Is rare but We have seen it happen,sometimes you also have an Ic called character generator and it could be bad.You will need the assitance of a servicer for this problem because there are voltages to measure and signal to trace.
