X button pushes down automatically.

When I plug in the controller, it "pushes down" automatically and any other button responds. Thanks in advance.

Hello,i see your having trouble with your ps2/pc controler,if you have brought this product preowned, the controler may be damaged in the wires, thats why when you launch a game the controler will automatically press the "a" key.... If you have brought this new,the controler may be faulty...

The right analog stick doesn't respond right away after being pushed, i have to push it hard for it to respond

open it up slowly and gentle then see if there is anything stuck to the analog from the inside sometimes dust or other things hold the analog stick from being pushed or make a layer between the analog and the board button..

Controller up down mode has reversed

Hi,

To shift into reverse, press the Downshift button (the X button).
The default control configuration also features Auto-Reverse—when you hold the brake down for one second while your car is at a complete stop, the car will automatically shift into reverse.
To turn off Auto-Reverse, or to change your controller configuration, choose Options on the Main Menu, and then choose Controller Settings.
See the picture below.

Hope it helps.

I have a wireless controller that won't connect with my Xbox 360. The batteries are not dead, and whenever I press the button to turn on the controller it just keeps blinking instead of showing that it is...

sync the controler to the xbox. there is a small button on the top of the controller next to the plug in for the cord. push that button along with the button next to the reciving eye on the consel. push them both at teh samt time until they stop spinning and start flashing as if they had low batterys.

R-button on wireless 360 controller acting funny

Sounds like a dodgy trigger to me, maybe became damaged from shipping etc, take it back to the store you bought it from and state your problem, they should either fix the problem for you or supply you with another 360 pad free of charge.

I recently purchased logitec extreme 3d pro joystick and a user manual did not come with it. How do I get one?

Did you purchase it open-box or second-hand? If so, you shouldn't be surprised at the lack of a manual. If you bought it new, it may not have come with one.

I personally have one of these joysticks, but I bought it so long ago that I can't remember if it came with a manual or not.

Either way, there really isn't much need for a manual for this joystick. It doesn't have any very advanced features that would require a manual. It's very simple to use:

  1. Plug it in to an open USB port on your computer.
  2. It should be automatically detected by your operating system. If not, you may have a defective joystick or a defective USB port. Try the joystick in another USB port. If the problem persists, check Logitech's website.
  3. In Windows, click Start->Control Panel->Game Controllers. You should see the joystick listed. Select it and click Properties.
  4. It should open a new window to the "Test" tab, where you can make sure all the buttons work. I suggest you click on the "Settings" tab at the top left.
  5. Click "Calibrate..." and follow the prompts. It'll ask you to keep the joystick centered and press a button on the joystick (use one of the side buttons such as 11 or 12 so that you don't inadvertently move the joystick from center).
  6. Then it'll ask you to move the joystick in complete circles. Do this several times and advance to the next step.
  7. It'll ask you to move the throttle slider up and down. Do this several times and advance to the next step.
  8. It'll ask you to set the "Z-rotation," which is the left/right twist of the handle. Do this several times.
  9. It'll ask you to center it and press a button. See step 5 above.
Now the joystick should be calibrated and ready for use. If you have multiple game controllers, you may want to click the "Advanced" tab back in the Game Controllers window and make sure the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro is selected as the preferred device.

Now start whatever game you want to use it with. You'll probably have to configure what you want the buttons on your joystick to do within the game; follow the instructions that came with the game.

Pretty simple, and like I said, there are no advanced macro functions or anything like that for this joystick.

I have no instructions

in order to program the controller, you need to hold the button on the reciever for 10 seconds....during that 10 sec push a "face" button...usually 'X'. after a sec or 2 the green light on the reciever will go solid then turn off. now it should respond whenever you hit a button on your controller.

Right Joystick. . .

I had this same problem with my 360 controller (after modding it, but the solution should be the same..) If you pull up on any 360 joystick it will stick the same way.

The quickest fix would be to take some sandpaper on the inside of where the joystick touches the controller shell, sand it down just enough so the joystick is moving smoothly.

More professional ways would be to cut the little piece of metal that sticks out and goes into the joystick. Just a very small amount, too much will make it hard to press the right thumbstick button.
You could also try some old fashioned grease, just a little bit on the inside, nothing noticeable from the outside.

Also make sure the controller is put back together right, I've taken apart many 360 controllers and sometimes joysticks stick when there's a wire in the wrong place and the shell won't close all the way. (The rumble motors particularly).
Hope this helped!
