You paid for the key and now the key will not work right??
If you have the reciept you should be able to get onto customer assistance and get a new key.
Or you could try a free virus protection like 'AVG free'.

cheers

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to view corrupt dbx files?

I can not help but sympathize. I had NIS destroy my entire OS partition and it's backup. I reinstalled and use KIS now. NIS also does not support modern x64 OSes but Kaspersky Internet Security will. As far as Outlook goes I never use it. You would think after the fist few hundred security patch to outlook that is people would learn it is a piece of garbage. 80% (not scientific) of windows security breach are for Outlook or IE. The are pure $#!+ and only a dummy would use them.

Tip

Speedup uTorrent client with Norton and McAfee Firewall Tweaking

Make sure that the following are set in your NIS to ensure that peers can connect to you and prevent intrusion prevention warnings.

Make sure uTorrent is added to the NIS firewall and contains these two rules:
  1. Inbound Rule to permit TCP and UDP connections from any computer
  2. Outbound Rule to permit TCP and UDP connections to any computer
You must also make sure that you deselect the following in the Advanced Security Settings this is required even if the port forward test gives a positive result.
  1. Stealth Blocked Ports
  2. Invalid TCP Destination Port
  3. Invalid TCP Source Port
In Norton you must also Deselect MS Windows H.323 BO (2) signatures on the Intrusion Prevention Signature Exclusions page of the Intrusion Protection Advanced Configuration

Full system scan not getting completed

Open NIS and run LiveUpdate. Keep re-running LiveUpdate until it says that there are no more updates. Reboot the system if prompted to do so (you may want to reboot even if it doesn't say it is required, just to be sure everything got replaced properly). Open NIS again, select Tasks and run a Full System Scan. The error message should not appear again.

My computer is telling me my subscription ends in 10 days time

If you're still running NIS 2005, I'd say it's time to upgrade if it expires in 10 days. You can usually get a newer version of Norton with an upgrade rebate at one of the big box stores. Hurry though.
